"Players. Long have you waited. Now, the time has come...for an announcement. For those who have been following since December of last year, you know that Riot Forge has promised creative collaborations between Riot and other amazing studios, spanning genres and spinning stories within the world of Runeterra. It is the dawn of a new age and the start of a new story. Riot Forge and Airship Syndicate are excited to announce that the time for Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is coming early 2021.
SO WHAT IS RUINED KING: A LEAGUE OF LEGENDS STORY?
Ruined King is a narrative driven turn-based RPG centered around the unlikely partnership between some familiar faces as they work together for the benefit of all Runeterra. This is Riot’s first foray into a completable, interactive experience that will allow players (like yourselves) to experience Runeterra in new ways.
WHICH CHAMPIONS WILL BE IN THE GAME?
We did promise some familiar faces. Miss Fortune, Illaoi, and Pyke will be bringing their knowledge of the deep alongside some Ionian assistance from Yasuo and Ahri. Of course, sometimes the best offense is a rock-solid defense, so the Heart of the Freljord, Braum, will be providing the group with some extra muscle.
WHAT SYSTEMS CAN I PLAY THIS ON?
Ruined King will be available on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4 system, Xbox One, Steam®, and The Epic Games Store and soon thereafter on PlayStation®5 system and Xbox Series X|S with existing PlayStation®4 system and Xbox One owners having the ability to upgrade their version for free.
OKAY, BUT WHEN CAN I PLAY IT?!
Soon™
No really! Ruined King: A League of Legends Story will be coming to the aforementioned systems in early 2021. You can also add the game to your preferred story wishlist.
